Elmwood-Murdock Chapter Program of Work (POW)
With this program of work, members can engage in leadership workshops and get to spend quality time with friends and their community. It shows the pathway for our chapter and its members.
During meetings and activities, members get to learn FCS skills and practices. They also get to learn about what they can do to help their community, develop their own life skills, and become better speakers.
By discussing STAR and Power of One we can help each other set and achieve goals as well as help our community by discussing volunteer opportunities. Then, attending the FCCLA leadership workshops, we can learn leadership skills and how we can change our communities for the better.
While attending conferences and assemblies, we can also learn how to set goals and plan for future careers, leadership dexterity, planning/doing community service acts, and social skills.
